US Election 2016: Violence Occurs Close To Trump Rally In California

Demonstrators blocked traffic which is outside a place in California where the Republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump was holding a rally. The demonstrators matched out in hundreds. One police car has its windows smashed while Mr Stump was speaking inside a hall within the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.
He also affirmed to deport millions of immigrants who are not legal if he becomes the US President. He is facing a strong opposition in certain parts of California among Latinos.
California happens to be the biggest prize for the Republican candidates in the nomination race and they will hold their primaries on the 7th of June
Mr Stump called himself the Republican 'presumptive nominee' after making five new primary wins in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
18000 people filled the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa. There were heated exchanges between Trump supporters and the outside protesters of which the supporters were shouting "Build that wall! Build that wall"! which is a reference to the candidate's call for a barrier between Mexico and the US to stop border crossings that were illegal.
Officers on horseback and police in riot gear moved in to separate the two groups. Reports from the BBC confirmed that there were protesters who threw stones at motorists while the rest jumped on top of the police car smashing the windows.
The campaign of Mr Trump has been characterized by violence between his protesters and supporters especially at the University of Illinois when a rally got called off after a fight broke out.
Hilary Clinton of the Democratic camp has a reasonable lead over Bernie Sanders. On November 8 which is the day of the Presidential election, America will have to vote for a successor to Barack Obama, a president from the Democratic platform standing down after two terms in office and this have witnessed the Republicans taking control of Congress.
